What is the purpose of your research (secondary)
The purpose of my secondary research is to  gather as much information about the product as I can. There are various advantages of conduction a secondary research. One of them is finding reliable information much quicker than primary research since it already exists. Another advantage is that the cost to acquire it will be much lower than conducting the research by myself. Finally, an advantage of secondary research is the clarification of research question. This will help clarify the research focus.

Conduct research on current film magazines
The film magazine I am conducting a research on is called 'Empire' and it was released in November 2009.

What is the content of the magazine:
The magazine includes film reviews and interviews. There are various film reviews, including the famous TV show 'The Game of Thrones: Season 4' which provides more information for the readers about the show on topics such as first transmits, showrunners, etc. The magazine also interviews the star actor Seth MacFarlane's which also created the popular animated show American Dad. One of the question he was asked was 'Is it true Stewie is based on Rex Harrison in My Fair Lady?' 

What does the cover look like? 
The cover features the main person that they will interview which is the actor Tom Cruise, on his 25th birthday. Around the big picture of Tom Cruise,  includes a couple of his previous features on the Empire magazine. At the bottom of the cover there are multiple on-set exclusives which are Game of Thrones IV, How To Train Your Dragon 2 and  Dawn Of The Planet of Apes. At the top of the cover it says 'Our biggest-ever cover star returns...' which could be utilised to attract customers.

What is featured on the cover page?
The feature on the cover page will be Tom Cruise.

Does it have a centre page spread?
Yes it does. The centre page spread features a movie called 'The Elder Scrolls.'

Does it have interviews?
Yes it does have interviews.

Contests for readers?
Yes. It includes a 'Life On The Limit and Rush on Blu-ray, a 42" HDTV and a Blu-ray player!

Doesn't include it.
